Extremely cool news, I’ve been nominated for my first award! A huge thank you to Grace O from GRACELIFECOLLECTIONS for the nom, it means a lot after only around two months of blogging. If you haven’t come across Grace before her blog is definitely worth checking out, she writes about tons of cool stuff including lifestyle and the health benefits of good diet. She also has a new book out on Amazon all about the importance of breakfast, so she’s got a lot going on!
What is the Versatile Blogger Award?
• The versatile blogger award is given to bloggers by bloggers as a recognition of the uniqueness of their content and individuality.
• It is also a way to honour bloggers who bring something special to your life whether everyday or now and then.
• The award is run by VBA.
When you are nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award, you have to play by a number of rules:
• Thank the person who gave you this award.
• Include a link to their blog.
• Nominate 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award.
• Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.
So, allow me a moment to skim some of the more interesting facts about me off the top of my head. Though with my recent review of Orwell still fresh in my mind, they won’t be too revealing!
1: I have a small chunk of flesh missing from my left knee, as a result of teenage shenanigans in New Zealand. The scar is pretty cool. The inability to kneel properly is not.
2: I enjoyed the Star Wars prequels almost as much as the original trilogy. (“OMG! Burn him!!” I hear you shouting)
3: My earliest gaming memory was of my father playing Starcraft: Brood War when I was about seven. The first half of my online pseudonym comes from my favourite character: Zeratul.
4: I love American football, and I play a flag version (non-contact) here in the UK.
5: I studied ‘Physics with Nuclear Astrophysics’ at university. At one of my first social events, I told someone what my course was. They responded with: “Wow, I feel so uncool standing next to you right now.” The memory still haunts me.
6: I have more board games in my collection than items of clothing in my wardrobe.
7: My weirdest, most irrational fear, is of empty chairs directly facing me. *shudder*
Welp, hope you all enjoyed! Now, to nominate some other blogs. Gotta say though, I feel like fifteen blogs is insanely too many. As I’ve only been blogging a little while, that would be around half the people I follow. So I’m going for five carefully chosen blogs, whose content I really look forward to reading. Sue me, it’s my award!
Until next time,
